The countdown is starting for Festival 2009! The Committee has been busy securing entertainment for your enjoyment this year. We're looking forward to another great year.
RETURNING for 2009
The Pooch Pageant, a popular fun dog show, will return, tentatively scheduled for Saturday at 2pm. We are pleased to announce that Colonial Animal Hospital of Locust is again our sponsor for this fun event. Thank you to Dr. Barker and staff for your continued support.
Y.E.S. Your Event Source is again providing the rides and amusements for 2009. Wristbands will again be used as well as individual ticket sales for those preferring to ride 1 or 2 rides. Some new mechanical rides and inflatables are also being added.

The Cowboy Church and the Rough Cut Cowboy Race returns in 2009. Details and applications coming soon.
We are excited to announce that Gerald Clontz Trucking of Midland is our sponsor for the 2009 Fireworks Show on Saturday evening.
NEW for 2009, we are excited to announce a new "Marvin's Star Search'. This is a talent show for all ages, tentatively set over the 2 days of the Festival. More details including applications, entry fees, rules and guidelines will be released by mid-August 2009. Please check back soon.
NEW for 2009, we are excited to announce the SAWA Lumberjack Contests. This will begin Saturday at 9am and last for most of the day. There will be contests throughout the day. Bring a lawn chair, you will NOT want to miss this! For more information logon to www.SAWAlumberjacks.com.
